    Welcome!

    Welcome to Sanborn! My name is Susan Collier and I’m thrilled to be the ELL teacher and working with students from K-6th grade. During my free time, I love to spend time with my family and friends.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from ASU in 1996.  In 2004, I graduated with a Master's Degree in Curriculum from NAU and I also have a Bilingual Endorsement. I started my teaching career in the Roosevelt District and have been teaching in the Chandler District since 2001.  Over the course of my career, I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. I am excited about getting to work with our ELL students this year.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe each student is unique and it is my goal to help each one learn in multiple ways as they become lifelong learners.
