Welcome to Basha Elementary! Our school staff prides itself on creating a caring community in order to help students succeed and grow.
My Education and Professional Background
I am a proud product of the Chandler Unified School District. I attended Chandler schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. After graduation, I went to receive my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and began teaching in the Chandler Unified School District in 1996. I spent 16 years teaching in grades 2nd, 4th, and 6th. After stepping out of the classroom, I became the Curriculum Specialist and Title 1 Coordinator at a Chandler school and then Assistant Principal. In addition to my Bachelor's degree, I also hold Master's degrees from Northern Arizona University in Education Curriculum and Instruction well as Educational Leadership.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all children are capable of learning and doing great things. My goal as an educator is to help students see their own potential, unique talents, and realize their dreams. Basha Elementary is a wonderful place for students to develop good work and social habits that will serve them well in their life's pursuits.
