    Welcome to the wonderful world of Kindergarten. I am so excited to be working with your child at CTA Humphrey Elementary.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education. I have continued to take classes and attend training to further my knowledge for education in Early Childhood development.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My role as a teacher is to be able to provide enriching activities so that children are supported as they learn. I always look for ways to personalize learning and engage the child's imagination. I believe in multiple 'ways of knowing and doing' while promoting creative and higher-order thinking. I believe that my students deserve to be in an environment where they feel safe and can take risks in learning. My goal is for us to work as a community to achieve the success of each child's learning.
