    Welcome!

    Hello, and welcome to my 6th grade class. My name is Mrs. Holden. I was born and raised in Arizona. My husband Andrew and I are proud parents of two beautiful girls. Our oldest, Kyleigh, is in 12th grade, while our youngest, Reagan, is in 9th. I can't forget about our 8-year-old furbaby, Brady Boston. I love teaching; it is my passion. I am ecstatic to be a part of your child's life!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University. . . GO SUN DEVILS!! During my student teaching, I was very honored to have had the privilege of being selected by the Rodel Charitable Foundation to be a Rodel Promising Student Teacher. This is my second year here as a Sanborn Sun. However, I've been a teacher for CUSD since 2012. I also taught middle school previously in the Isaac School District in Phoenix, AZ for 3 years.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I truly believe that our children are our future. With that comes that great responsibility not only on the teacher, but on the parents as well. I believe it is important to establish that relationship so the students be their most effective selves. I want my students to come to school loving it each and every day. I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the classroom.
