    Welcome!

    My name is Jill Lanning, and I am thrilled to part of Fulton’s fabulous 4th grade team! I have been a part of the Fulton community as both a parent and a substitute teacher since the school opened in 2007. I love our school and everything it has to offer our children!!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have been in education, one way or another, for the last 20 years. I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1990 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I taught for several years before I decided to hibernate at home and raise my daughters. My girls are in college now and I’m thrilled to be back in the classroom!

    My Educational Philosophy

    In my classroom, I believe it is important for students to feel safe and respected. We will work all year long to establish a room filled with friendships, pride, trust and high self-esteem. I want all my students to feel that they are in a place where they can comfortably be themselves all while learning and growing to be the best they can be. I also believe that the students, parents and teacher must work as a team to achieve the goals in front of us.
