    Welcome to our 1st Grade Learning Community! I am so glad to be a part of your child’s educational journey. I look forward to getting to know you and your family. It’s going to be a great year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I completed my Sociology B.A. specializing in Family Studies at ASU in 2001. After graduating, I was blessed with the beginnings of my amazing family life with my husband Matt. My husband and I are both Arizona natives.

    While raising our children to Kindergarten entry, I worked a variety of fields in corporate America that include the banking, insurance, retail, and hospitality industries. Once my youngest started Kindergarten, I was able to complete my teaching certification at Rio Salado. I was hired on here at CTA Goodman in 2013. I then completed my Masters in Education specializing in Instructional Leadership at Northcentral University in 2014.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Learning is their journey. Teach them the skills. Let them navigate. Push them to explore. Watch them discover. Encourage their questions. Allow them to struggle. Support their thinking. Let them grow.
