Welcome to another year of school! I hope you had a restful summer and are ready to work hard this year. I look forward to a successful year and getting to know you all!
My Education and Professional Background
I have been teaching since 1997. I began my teaching career at Aprende Middle School in the Kyrene School District teaching 6th grade math, 7th grade math, and Pre-Algebra all to 6th graders. I then moved to CUSD and taught 6th grade math at Hull Elementary School. I have been at Basha since 2004 where I have been teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Honors Algebra 2. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Arizona State University - Go Sun Devils! I am certified K-12 with an emphasis in Mathematics.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe all students can learn and be successful but not without hard work and a positive attitude.
