Welcome to the library!
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers) with an Early Childhood degree and earned my Master's degree from Grand Canyon University. I have been in education since 1995 and absolutely love it. I stayed at home with my two children until they were school age. I have taught K, 1, 2, and 3rd. I am very fortunate to be part of the Chandler District.
My Educational Philosophy
Each child is an individual and an important part of our classroom team! I believe each child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the classroom. I am here to encourage, prepare, and listen to every child. I will provide an environment that is safe, that supports risk-taking, helps each student reach his/her potential, and promotes respect and kindness towards others. I want to instill a love of learning so each student can feel successful. Each day is a new beginning with great challenges and successes to embrace. I am eager to let the learning begin.
