    Welcome!

    Bienvenidos a Español. I am happily married, mom to 4 kids and 2 step-kids. I am proud to say both of my sons graduated from Basha High School. On my breaks, you will find me traveling somewher in this beautiful world of ours.

    Please feel free to contact me any time with any concerns.  I want your child to succeed and together we can make that happen. I enjoy teaching Spanish and seeing students expand their horizons.

    My Education and Professional Background

    Bachelor's in Spanish with a minor in Latin American Studies from Weber State University.

    In the past, I worked in the 504 department working with deaf students, then I worked in the ESL department.  I went back to school and got a degree in Spanish with a minor in Latin American studies.  I am happy to be at Basha teaching Spanish. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    Learning a foreign language takes a lot of practice. It's important to remember that making mistakes is part of the learning process. James Joyce said, "Mistakes are the portal of discovery." The important thing is to try.
