    Welcome to Ryan Elementary! At Ryan, we pride ourselves in creating an environment where ALL of our students feel loved, challenged, and successful!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I actually began my studies in the field of sports medicine before I changed to an education major. I had a strong passion to work with students and make a difference in their lives, which led me to my Bachelor's degree in Education from Arizona State University. I then went on to pursue my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, knowing that one day I would love to lead a school community. Before this principalship, I taught at the elementary and middle school level for 8 years before becoming a Dean of Students and then an Assistant Principal in the Chandler Unified School District.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that ALL students want to learn and can learn. It is our job as educators to empower students with the skills, knowledge and mindset to become life long learners. At Ryan, we individualize instruction to meet the unique and specific needs of each student, whether academically or socially and emotionally.
