About
Chapman...
Welcome to a new school year, Bulldogs! I hope you are as excited as I am for a year of fun and learning in 8th grade Science. I have a wonderful husband, and three kids who also attend CUSD schools. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends, travel, exercise and shop.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from the University of Iowa with my Bachelor's Degree in Education. I began my teaching journey in 2000, and spent 14 years teaching in the Kyrene School District. Throughout those years, I had the privilege of teaching both math and science to 7th and 8th graders. I am proud to say Bogle has been my home since 2014, and I am looking forward to another fantastic year.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all children can succeed. It is my job to help guide my students on their academic journey; and provide them a safe place to make their mistakes and learn from them. I believe that different students learn in different ways, and will strive to provide multiple opportunities for learners of all types to be successful.
