    My Education and Professional Background

    My name is Leticia Velarde, or Ms.Tish to my preschoolers. I have many years teaching experience in the early childhood and special education. I hold a M.Ed. in Special Education and Special Ed. Pre-K as well as an B.A. in Education. I am so very honored to be your child's classroom teacher.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My pedagogy is that all students have opportunities to learn in an environment that promotes self-determination, self-advocacy, exploration, and discovery. Hands on learning that focuses on cooperative and collaborative engaging activities.
