    Welcome!

    Welcome! I am extremely excited to be Sanborn's Math Specialist! I have always loved learning and teaching math and am happy to focus my time into helping Sanborn Suns shine in math.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Northern Arizona University with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2011. I earned my Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University in 2019. I have been teaching since the fall of 2011, and have been a Sanborn Sun since 2014. I have earned a passing score on the National Education Series: Middle Grades Math test, allowing me to be highly qualified in K-8 Math.  

    My Educational Philosophy

    All students are unique and capable of learning to the highest levels. I strive to have each student reach success in all areas of education and life. To reach this goal it is my intention to create successful and productive relationships with all students. Our classroom is a community where all students feel comfortable taking risks and persevering to learn more than they knew they were capable of.
