    Welcome!

    Welcome to 2nd Grade!! I am so very excited to be teaching your children at our fantastic school! I look forward to an amazing year of growth as well as creating a supportive community within our classroom. We are going to have a GREAT year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in 2003 and my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University in 2006. I love being a student almost as much as I love being a teacher! I have taught in Chandler since 2003. I loved teaching first grade for five years and was able to loop up to 2nd grade. I have been in 2nd grade ever since!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. Learning is a lifelong adventure that includes much more than academics. My hope is that my passion for teaching will ignite a passion for learning in my students. I believe that a strong partnership between home and school will produce the most effective impact on our learners. I look forward to getting to know each of my students and their families.
