Welcome to 2nd Grade at Carlson Elementary! I love coming to work each day and making a difference in the lives of children. I am a mother of three wonderful children, Parker, Ryker, and Bexley. I am looking forward to an amazing year! Thank you for sharing your second grader with me.
My Education and Professional Background
I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils) in 2004. In 2014 I received an endorsement in Early Childhood Education. I previously taught in the Gilbert School District for eleven years before moving to Chandler. I began teaching in 2005
My Educational Philosophy
My goal is to inspire a life-long love of learning. I believe that each and every child has the ability to learn and it's my job as the teacher to help each child reach their full potential. I set high expectations for all my students and work with them to set personal goals where we work together to reach them. I look forward to partnering with your family to provide your Carlson second grade student with the best experience possible!
