Welcome! I am very excited to have you in my science class for this school year.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Conservation Biology. After working for a year, I returned to ASU and completed my M.S in Outdoor Recreation, with my research focused on Yosemite National Park. When I decided to become a teacher, I went back to ASU for the third time to earn my M.Ed. I have been teaching science in the Chandler district since 2009.
My Educational Philosophy
Learning about science provides students with lifelong analytical skills, regardless of their future careers. I am passionate about helping students gain a better understanding of the world around them. Science is an adventure and I can't wait to share it with each student.
