Welcome to Bogle Jr. High School and to Mrs. Bowers web page. I am so excited to be given the opportunity to teach choir again this year and share my passion for music with my students.
My Education and Professional Background
Attended both Arizona State University and Brigham Young University, earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. • Received a Master of Education Degree in Instructional Leadership and Curriculum from Argosy University • Private Piano and Clarinet Instructor for over 20 years • Performed in various community Orchestras, Bands and Musicals. • Member of the American Choral Directors Association • Arizona Native • • Happily married with 3 children who I am proud to say have all been products of the CUSD system. • Interests include hiking, running, biking, spending time with my family, reading, attending musicals, and traveling.
My Educational Philosophy
It is my belief that music is a unique medium for self-expression, team building, self-discovery and growth. My goal is that the choral program at Bogle offers all of our students the opportunity to grow as musicians as well as young adults.
