About
Redding...
Welcome to Bogle and GRIT Academy Social Science. In order to have a successful year, I want to make sure parents and students know how to access the resources used in our class. If you are looking for information like homework assignments or documents from class activities, they will be available through the student's Google Classroom account. No files will be attached to this website.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education in 1994 and am certified to teach both history and middle school science. I love working with the students at Bogle and look forward to becoming a part of their educational success stories.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that our classroom should be a place where students are given the opportunity to interact with ideas in a variety of ways, where they feel empowered to try new things and take chances, where they are challenged to meet their potential, and where they can experience the joy of learning. In order to achieve those goals, I am committed to working with students to establish an environment that fosters respect and responsibility.
