    My Education and Professional Background

    I began teaching in 1995 and have been teaching at Basha Elementary since 2007. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Northern Arizona University. A Master's Degree in Bilingual/Multicultural Education from Northern Arizona University and an endorsement in K-12 Library of Science.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that reading is the key to education. I want to empower students with the joy and skills of reading so that they can explore knowledge in non-fiction and discover new worlds in fiction.
