    Welcome to Room A5! My name is Rebecca Collins and I love being a part of the Fulton family. I am looking forward to having a year filled with learning and fun where every student receives the tools needed to succeed!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my BA in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from Nyack College in New York. I went on to receive my MA in Elementary Special Education from Nyack College. While in New York, I taught at a preschool, was a substitue teacher, and taught one year as a 7th and 8th grade teacher. I moved to Arizona in 2015 and have been working as a Special Education teacher since then.  I started working in the Chandler Unified School District at Fulton Elementary in 2016.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every child is capable of learning when given the right tools and resources. My job is to praise and encourage the steps that lead to success in reading, writing, and math. I want to give students a firm foundation of knowledge so each student can continue to build on that knowledge. Students who believe in themselves are unstoppable! My goal is to support the unique way every student learns so each can achieve success.
