Each branch of the military has a unique mission within the overall mission of U.S. security and peace. Although the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces seem similar, the types of jobs, geographic locations, environment, and cultures are often worlds apart.  Knowing which service best fits your goals and personality will ensure you make the best choice for your personal situation.
