I received my undergraduate degree from Biola University and obtained a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from NAU. I worked for many  years as a Speech Pathologist and then spent several years at home with my children. After spending numerous hours volunteering at my children’s school when they were younger, I decided to substitute teach and I discovered that I loved teaching.  I ultimately decided to go back to school to pursue my teaching certificate. I hold Arizona certificates in Elementary Education as well as a Speech Language Pathologist. I also have my Structured English Immersion endorsement and am Spalding trained. This will be my seventh year teaching 5th grade.
