Dear Parents and Families,
Welcome to my preschool class! I am thrilled about the upcoming school year and am looking forward to a fantastic time together. My name is Jamie Krzykowski, but you can call me "Mrs. K." I've been teaching for 14 years, and this will be my eighth year at Riggs Elementary. I couldn't be happier teaching anywhere else; our school is truly a special place, and I'm confident your child will feel the same. The teachers and students here are incredible, and it's like a second home to me.
In addition to teaching, I have a family of my own. I have two children, Payon (10) and Kash (7), who also attend Riggs Elementary. We also adopted Brandi a few years ago and she is a large part of our family. We recently welcomed a new addition to our family, Rebel the rabbit. We also have a goldendoodle named Ruby. My children and I enjoy various activities such as swimming, spending time with loved ones, watching movies, and playing games. I'm also a big fan of outdoor adventures like hiking, biking, and camping. While I've lived in Arizona my whole life, I'm a dedicated supporter of Chicago sports teams, especially the Cubs!
Creating a nurturing and supportive environment in my classroom is a top priority for me. I strive to ensure that every child feels valued, respected, and safe. Each student brings their own unique strengths and interests, and it's my goal to foster their individual growth and success. Our classroom is like a second family, where kindness, support, and celebration of each other's differences are central values.
Building a strong sense of community and collaboration with both students and families is essential to me. I believe that open communication and partnership between home and school are key to supporting each child's development and well-being. I'm genuinely excited to get to know each student and their family this year, and I'm confident that we'll have a wonderful journey of learning, growing, and connecting together.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. You can contact me at Krzykowski.jamielynn@cusd80.com or 480-224-3437.
I can't wait to meet you at open house on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 4:30 pm to 5:10 pm. It's going to be an amazing year!
Warm regards,
Ms. K
