    Welcome!

    Welcome to 3rd grade! I am so excited to be a part of the CTA Goodman team - GO GATORS! 3rd grade is my favorite grade to teach. I have very fond memories of my own 3rd grade teacher, who instilled in me a lifelong love of learning. In my classroom, we work hard, laugh, learn from our mistakes and love learning.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. I then attended NAU to obtain my Graduate Degree in Elementary Education. In 2017, I started teaching in the Chandler Unified School District at CTA Liberty. In 2020, I transferred to the Chandler Online Academy - Elementary Connect. There I taught CTA 3rd grade online for 3 years. Now, I am thrilled to be joining the Goodman team.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that developing a love of learning at an early age is critical to success in education. I work hard to meet my students where they are at and use the Growth Mindset Model in my classroom. I foster a classroom environment that supports the whole child and that encourages all children to feel safe and comfortable in our learning environment.
