Welcome to Mrs. Kraus's website. I hope you will find resources and information that will help you be more successful in your math class.
My Education and Professional Background
Mrs. Kraus graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's in special education K-12 and elementary education. She began her teaching career at Highland High school where she taught resource math. She worked there until 2017 when she began teaching at Perry high school. She is highly qualified in math and has participated in many workshops and training opportunities offered through state education programs. She continues to take classes and hone her teaching skills.
My Educational Philosophy
Mrs. Kraus believes all kids can learn and enjoy math. She is a proponent of challenging students and helping them to reach their potential. She likes to make learning fun and applicable to each student. She wants students to understand the importance of knowing and using math and learning things that are challenging. She believes that everyone can master difficult things.
