    Welcome to fourth grade! I’m looking forward to an amazing school year where we will learn, explore, create, achieve, and have fun together.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from NAU with a Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2005. In 2009, I earned my Masters degree in Educational Leadership also from NAU. I taught 2nd grade for 7 years and 3rd grade for 3 years in Somerton, AZ. After moving to Chandler, I worked here at Basha as a Para-educator in our self-contained classrooms for 2 years. I have been teaching 4th grade since 2017!

    My Educational Philosophy

    Every single child has the capacity to learn. It is our job as teachers to modify, expand, and innovate our teaching methods to assure that every student reaches his or her potential. I, also, believe that in order for our students to succeed academically and socially we have to "build bridges" between the school, the home, and the community. We have to be a team with our primary goal being to motivate, support, and guide our students’ learning.
