My Education and Professional Background
I have an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University (2001) and a Master's from Northern Arizona University (2004). I have been teaching high school in the east valley since 2001. I have been a Basha Bear since 2018.
My Educational Philosophy
Perseverance is not a characteristic reserved for a special few. It is something that all mathematics students can develop, practice, and improve. Recognizing that the brain can grow and stretch, teachers must help students understand that when they persevere, they are growing. Also, math is FUN.
