• Hamilton is a featured Girls Flag Football program in several marquee games this season.

    Hamilton opens the season on the road against perennial contender, Xavier Prep.  This game will be the first ever Girls Flag Football game to be broadcast live on 3TV.  A few days later Hamilton plays in part of the first ever Honor Bowl series for Girls Flag Football when we battle the 5A champions, Campo Verde, in a neutral site game at Liberty high school in Peoria.  Hamilton hosts Basha in October as part of Thursday Night Football, live streamed on the NFHS network thanks to the Varsity Sports Show.  Hamilton's final game of the season, The Battle for Arizona Avenue against rival Chandler, will be part of The Fiesta Bowl's "Flag Football Showdown" series.

    Hamilton girls help promote Gatorade effort to recognize Girls Flag Football.

    Gatorade recognizes one boys and girls athlete per state in several different high school sports.  There are many sports that are not yet recognized with the Player of the Year honor, including Girls Flag Football.  Gatorade is gauging the growing popularity of our sport in hopes that they may begin to recognize the Player of the Year.  Our Hamilton girls were there to help promote this effort.

     

    Two Hamilton athletes are finalists for Arizona Republic Girls Flag Football Player of the Year.

    Samaya Taylor-Jenkins was a finalist for Offensive Player of the Year and Naomi Ndayizeye was a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year.

     

    Hamilton girls shine at National Tournament!

    Samaya Taylor-Jenkins led the u17 Jr. National Team to the Gold Medal on July 12th in California.  Samaya was named tournament MVP after scoring 7 TDs including 2 in the Championship game against Panama en route to a 5-0 record. 

    Hamilton alum Catarina "CC" Maccagnano's u20 Select Team (precursor to the women's National Team) won their tournament, going 5-1.  After the tournament the girls scrimmaged the Team USA Women's squad where CC threw another TD pass against the best flag football athletes in the world.  She will now receive an automatic bid to the National Team tryouts next year.

    Hamilton freshman QB, Marlie Phillips, led her u16 squad to a 5-0 record and tournament win.  Marlie will now receive an automatic bid to the Jr. National Team tryouts next year.

    Hamilton goes 6-0 during the first ever University of Arizona "Brent Brennan Camp" tournament.

    20 Arizona high schools competed in a tournament on June 15th, culminating in Arizona Stadium where the Huskies
