SCOPE
The infrastructure technologies department designs, deploys and maintains the district data network and peripherals from the student devices to the Firewall.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and maintain the data center, servers, wireless access points, workstations, laptops, audio systems, power backup systems, and video systems
- Support and evaluate teacher and student software installs and updates
- Maintain and operate network security products that protect the network and CUSD's employees
- Ensure data compliance with required process standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor network performance and keep systems online
- Oversee the storage and backup of all data
- Support the security camera network and access to it
- Maintain the district telephone system
