Mr. Gilbert’s Expectations For a Positive Learning Environment
Classroom Policy
The students will:
1. Follow all policies and regulations as stated in the Chandler High School Student Handbook.
2. Treat teacher and classmates with respect.
3. Arrive on time and be ready to participate.
4. Be prepared for class with materials and complete assignments.
5. Advocate for themselves and utilize the appropriate resources: including but not limited to those stated in the Individualized Education Plan.
Classroom procedures:
Follow Student Expectations For Online Learning as outlined Chandler High School and Chandler Unified School District.
In Person:
1. Students will raise their hand to speak or leave their seat in class
2. Teacher dismisses class not the bell
3. Students will be responsible for their academic success. Advocating for themselves in class and becoming more independent will be a theme through out the school year!
Behavioral Consequences:
1. Verbal Warning
2. Time Out / Student-Teacher Conference
3. Call Home to Parents / Guardians
4. Discipline Referral
