About
Bejarano...
Bienvenue! Welcome! You're about to embark to a great adventure to get to know the Francophone World!
My Education and Professional Background
I've been part of the CUSD family since 2010. I previously taught Spanish and French at PHS and have been teaching French full time at Chandler High School since 2013 I earned my B.A.E. from ASU with an emphasis in French in May of 2010 and graduated with highest honor Summa Cum Laude.
My Educational Philosophy
I truly believe that world language study expands the mind and opens the heart. Learning to communicate in another language builds self-confidence and bridges cultures. In my class, students will learn about the core of the French language as well as the different facets of the francophone world. The five goal areas of the World Language Standards establish an inextricable link between communication and culture, which is applied in making connections and comparisons and in using this competence to be part of local and global communities. My philosophy and my goal will be to create a roadmap to guide learners to develop competence to communicate effectively and interact with cultural competence to participate in multilingual communities at home and around the world.
