    (11th Season at CHS, 2015 - Present)

    On January 14, 2015, Bobby Robson was named the 6th Head Coach in program history.

    Bobby Robson concluded his tenth season as the Head Boys Volleyball Coach at Chandler High School in 2024. Over those ten seasons, Chandler Volleyball has emerged as one of Arizona's top programs, culminating with the Wolves winning the 2019 AIA 6A State Championship, Chandler's first. Throughout Robson's tenure, Chandler has reached two state championship games (2017 & 2019), has won two Premier Region Championships (2018 & 2019), and has made the 6A Quarterfinals every year since 2017. Coach Robson has received multiple coaching awards during his tenure at CHS. Robson has been named CUSD's Boys Volleyball Coach of the Year two times, azcentral.com Boys Volleyball Coach of the Year in 2017, and AIA 6A Boys Volleyball Coach of the Year two times. 

    Coach Robson was named to the AVCA's Thirty Under 30 High School Edition. That list recognizes thirty high school coaches around the country under the age of 30. 

    In addition to coaching the boy's program, Coach Robson spent seven years on the staff of the Chandler Girls program, his last three as Head Coach. From 2018 to 2020, Robson served as head coach and guided the program to its first playoff appearance in 11 seasons. In 2020, Robson was named CUSD's Girls Volleyball Coach of the Year. 

    Additionally, every single one of Robson's teams has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award since 2016. This award recognizes academic achievement among high school and college volleyball programs nationally. 

    Professionally, Robson teaches in the Social Studies department at CHS after graduating cum-laude from Arizona State University in 2014 with a degree in Secondary Education and is a 2011 graduate of CHS. 


     
    Clapp
     
    (10th Season at CHS, 2016 - Present)

    Coach Clapp has been a member of the Wolves Coaching Staff since the Spring of 2016. 

    Over that time, Coach Clapp has become an invaluable member of the coaching staff and has been instrumental in the building of the Boys Program. From 2016-2018, Coach Clapp was the program's JV Coach before moving up to Varsity starting in the 2019 season. 

    During his tenure at CHS, Clapp also was part of the girl's volleyball program for three seasons, serving in a variety of assistant coaching roles. 

    Clapp also coaches at Arizona Fear where, over the past few years, he has coached teams of all ages ranging from 14s to 18s. 

    Coach Clapp is a proud 2012 graduate of CHS, and is a dedicated Wolf!


     


    Scott Schutkowski

    (3rd Season at CHS, 2023 - Present)

    Coach Scott Schutkowski is returning for his second season on the Chandler coaching staff this year after almost 20 years of coaching volleyball in the East Valley,

    Before taking over our JV Team, Coach Schutkowski was the Varsity Head Coach at Mountain Pointe HS from 2019-2022, where he led the Pride to the playoffs. Over the past 20 years, Coach Schutkowski has also spent time on the girl's staff at MPHS in a head coaching and assistant position, as well as various girls' teams at Aspire Volleyball Club. 

    Coach Schutkowski has been teaching junior high social studies for the past twenty years in the Kyrene School District while coaching volleyball at Centennial and Aprende Middle Schools. 

    Scott is a proud 1989 Alumnus of CHS and is overjoyed to be back home coaching at his Alma Mater. 


      

     


    Trey Weinstein

    (3rd Season at CHS, 2023 - Present

    Trey Weinstein is in his third year as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Chandler High School.

    Trey is a 2019 Graduate of Chandler High School. He was a four-year starting setter and letter-winner for the Wolves, culminating his career as a State Champion, two-time Premier Region Champion, First Team All-State Setter, and finished with the winningest four-year stretch in CHS Volleyball History. Trey brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his coaching role and we are happy to have him give his time to our program.
