Sharing What's Happening in the Classroom or Across the District
Tweeting about the amazing things happening across the district is great for the community! Here's a Tweet from Jeff Delp (@PrincipalDelp), Principal at Willis JHS:
Students in Mr. Brown’s web design class are working on their pages using HTML and CSS. #stem @ChandlerUnified pic.twitter.com/VE2Fxu1LjY
— Jeff Delp (@PrincipalDelp) October 26, 2015Notice that Jeff mentioned @ChandlerUnified so that the main CUSD Twitter account was notified of the Tweet, as well ... this allows the Tweet to be retweeted to more followers. He also used the #stem hashtag so that the Tweet would be added to thousands of others that discuss STEM in the classroom.
IMPORTANT: whenever you're Tweeting about students, never use student names. When you Tweet pictures of students, be sure to make sure there are signed publicity release forms on file to ensure the students' parents have given permission to use their children's images.
