My Education and Professional Background
I am an alumni from Chandler High School being part of the first three State Championships for track and field. I graduated from Mesa Community College with my A.A and transferred to Fresno Pacific University. I competed for their track and field team placing at Nationals. In 2013, I graduated from FPU with my B.A in English with an Emphasis in Secondary Education. I returned to Arizona where I continued my education at ASU where I received my Masters in Education in 2014. Shortly after, I moved to Albania for five months where I taught 10th and 11th grade English at Lezhe Academic Center. When I returned home, I started teaching 6th/7th Writing at Morris K. Udall.
My Educational Philosophy
'If you can develop this ability to see what you look at, to understand its meaning, to re-adjust your knowledge to this new information, you can continue to learn and to grow as long as you live and you'll have a wonderful time doing it (Eleanor Roosevelt). I believe that each individual has much to bring to the classroom. We all come from various places and backgrounds that offer different perspectives that help create opportunities for learning.
