Top Five Teachers in Arizona Named: Two from CUSD!

  • The top ten teachers for the Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF) Arizona Teacher of the Year program have been decided. We are excited to announce that our own Jena Phillips (science teacher at Bogle Junior High) and Lori Lyford (music and choral teacher at Chandler High) are not only among the top ten teachers in Arizona, but also two of the top five finalists: 2017 Ambassadors for Excellence for the state of Arizona! One of these five teachers will be named the AEF Arizona Teacher of the Year for 2017 and proceed to the National Teacher of the Year competition.
