for refugee parents has recently become available. The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) videos AZ
Public Schools for Refugee Families are available from the links below in 6 different languages (English, Arabic, Burmese,
Nepali, Somali and Swahili).
The videos are between 35 minutes (English Version) and 45 minutes long (other languages), and are very informative to refugee parents about Arizona K-12 School basics. The videos are intended to fill a great need among refugee parents in Arizona and can assist teachers, administrators and staff who engage with refugees at their school. Refugee parents can now have access to learn about their new school system at their convenience:
