December 8, 2021
To the Chandler Unified School District Community,
The Chandler Unified School District Governing Board, voted 3-1 to name Frank Narducci as the Superintendent effective January 1, 2022. Mr. Narducci has served as interim superintendent since July 1.
“Frank has strong connections within the Chandler community,” Board President Barbara Mozdzen said. “We’re confident that he’ll lead the district with his innovation and commitment to education.”
Mr. Narducci has 39 years of experience in the field of education, beginning as a classroom teacher then moving to leadership positions at the building and district level. He has been a well-respected and trusted administrator in the Chandler Unified School District for 25 years, serving as Assistant Superintendent on Dr. Camille Casteel’s cabinet team for 10 years. After her retirement in June 2021, Narducci carried the torch as the interim superintendent, with a unanimous Governing Board vote. He has a wide range of expertise related to curriculum, instruction, business, and program development. In addition, Mr. Narducci is active in the community serving in leadership roles on several foundations and boards.
He looks forward to helping our schools develop the 21st Century graduate profile through a Future Ready Schools initiative and continuing to enhance the rigor in curriculum while closing the gaps caused by learning loss during the pandemic.
Chandler Unified is the second-largest school district in Arizona serving more than 44,000 students and employing 5,000 staff.
