"America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand." -Harry S. Truman
Why study history?
History is the process by which historians interpret events from the past, to gain knowledge of the present, and prepare for the future. The connections between the past, present, and the future will be key to our understanding and study. In focusing on these connections we will better be able to make sense of our place in the world today.
