Staff Transfers
To Transferring Staff,
In effort to make your transfer to another district site efficient follow these guidelines:
1. Preparation of material and equipment
- All items possible to box must be boxed up.
- Boxes must not weigh more than 40 pounds; a good rule of thumb is, if you can easily pick up the box the weight is probably within satisfactory limits.
- Boxes must be securely taped closed on the top and the bottom
- The following information must be written on the box in bold marker (do not use post-it-notes):
- Name
- New site name
- If possible new room number
- Any unmarked boxes will not be relocated
- For equipment to large to boxed up tape a large sign with packing tape (not scotch tape) to the item, with the above information
- The warehouse will not transport any personal items
2. Notify the warehouse by using School Dude Maintenance Direct using Warehouse as the craft, information needed is:
- Name
- Current site
- New site
- Quantity of boxes to be relocated
- List of equipment that is too large to box
- The warehouse must receive all transfer requests by May 30
Items being stored will not be accessible. Pick up and delivery date for transfers will be at the time "Start Up Deliveries" are scheduled. Contact your site administrative assistant for dates. All transfers will be completed prior to the first day of school.
