Grade Reports for K-6

  • KINDERGARTEN grade reports are distributed quarterly. Students will receive their first grade reports after Fall Intersession.  Starting in second quarter, kindergarten students will also start receiving mid-term progress report cards. Students in kindergarten do not receive letter grades on their mid-term progress/grade report cards.  Instead, students' academic progress in school are described by the following indicators:

    MS:   Meets Standard
    P:      Progressing
    AC:    Area of Concern  
     
    Scores for Behavior/Participation (K-6)
    E:   Excellent 
    S:   Satisfactory 
    I:    Improving   
    N:   Needs Improvement 
     
     
    GRADES 1-6 mid-term progress and quarterly grade reports are distributed consistently at the same time (Quarters 1-4). All K-6 students will receive their first grade reports after Fall Intersession.  Students in Grades 1-6 receive letter grades on mid-term progress/grade reports.  In addition, K-6 students' attitudes in class are measured by their performance and behaviors.  
     
    Scores for Standards Proficiency (1-6)
    90% - 100%:   A    (Outstanding) 
    80% - 89%:     B    (Very good)  
    70% - 79%:     C    (Satisfactory)
    60% - 69%:     D    (Having Difficulty)
    Below 60%:     F    (Serious Difficulty)  
     
    Scores for Behavior/Participation (K-6)
    E:   Excellent 
    S:   Satisfactory 
    I:    Improving   
    N:   Needs Improvement
