    Welcome to EDGE @ Chief Hill Learning Academy! Chief Hill Academy is one of Chandler Unified School District’s non-traditional program sites.  EDGE@HLA is a small program designed to support students who need a smaller learning environment with more individualized attention; our students come to us from different schools throughout the district.  I'm so excited to be working with your student!

    My Education and Professional Background

    After graduating from ASU with my Bachelor's degree, I began my career working at Arizona Boys Ranch.  Five years later, I joined the public school system in Mesa and then transferred to Chandler Unified School District.  I've been working with students at CUSD for 25 years!  I have a Master's degree and Administration certificate from Northern Arizona University.  In July of 2015, I had the honor of leading the EDGE team in the district's new public day program housed at Chief Hill Academy.  

    My Educational Philosophy

    Students need guidance, support and to know adults care about them. I believe by developing trusting relationships and getting to know our students, we can help them reach their full potential, not only in the school setting but as contributing members of society.
