    Hello,

    My name is Tyler Huisman and I am very excited to be the school counselor at Hull Elementary. It is my goal to provide a safe space for all students. I am here to support in anyway that I can. I look forward to a great year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    .I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I then went on to Buena Vista University, where I received my Master of Science in Education with a School Counseling endorsement. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    It is my responsibility to assist students with their educational and personal needs. Help students understand themselves and others. Develop personalized programs based on each student's strengths and needs. Build social and coping skills. Assist students in identifying and dealing with problems.
