    Hello! Welcome to 4th grade. I am excited to work alongside you this school year through this pivotal year of learning and growth.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I've been in education for over 25 years. I earned my Bachelors of Science at Illinois State University and obtained a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction through the American College of Education. Most of my years teaching have been in the 5th grade, but I have spent time in 3rd - 8th grade classrooms here and there.  I find 4th grade to be the perfect grade level!

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal this year is to guide students to become independent learners with a lifelong desire to learn. I believe that fostering independence in our students not only empowers them in their academic journey but also equips them with the essential skills needed beyond the classroom.
