Dropping Off and Picking Up Your Child
The East Parking Lot has been designated for dropping off and picking up children in
grades K-6. Supervision will be provided in the morning and afternoon. Please arrange for
your child to meet you there.
In an effort to keep our campus as safe and orderly as possible, we ask that you DO NOT
pick up your child at the classroom door.

    School Rules

    Hull Heroes…

Continue to listen and follow directions
    Always do their best
    Respect themselves, others and property
    Exercise safe and appropriate behavior

Good discipline is essential to learning. A good program is based upon mutual respect for
the rights and property of others and respect for every student. No one will be allowed to
jeopardize the health, safety or learning environment of fellow students. Fighting will not
be tolerated and could lead to suspension. Students will be expected to show good and
proper behavior at all times when they are at school, walking to and from school, on the
bus or participating in any of the many school activities. To assist in maintaining an
appropriate learning and behavioral environment, Hull Elementary will utilize a consistent,
    school-wide discipline plan.
We believe that each person is responsible for his/her own behavior. At Hull we use a
positive discipline plan. This plan recognizes appropriate behavior and incorporates
consequences for inappropriate behavior. Each teacher will send home a classroom
discipline plan. Parents, please read your child's classroom discipline plan, sign the slip and
return to the teacher indicating you have read the information. Students will be expected
to adhere to the Chandler Unified School District Student Code of Conduct.

    Misconduct Ticket/Communiqués
    • A Misconduct ticket will be issued for the following serious offenses: abusive action,
bus disturbance, classroom disturbance, defiance of authority, theft, threat, fighting
    or vandalism.
    • A Communiqué will serve as classroom documentation for implementation of the
classroom discipline plan. The Communiqués are typically used as a communication
tool to the parent or guardian of the undesirable behavior. It is the teacher’s
discretion to attach additional consequences to the Communiqué. Failure to return
signed Communiqués will result in a lunchtime detention.
Misconduct Tickets and Communiqués will be erased at the end of each semester. Ongoing
counseling will be arranged for students with chronic infractions.
