    Welcome!

    Welcome Falcons! My name is Ileana Argeros and I am your school social worker. I am a Chandler, Arizona native and honored to be in my community serving others. I provide social, emotional and mental health support services to our students. I also work with the student's families to locate community resources. I work collaboratively with students, their families, teachers and supportive staff to remove barriers to the student's educational learning.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am a two-time Sun Devil! I earned my bachelor's and master's from Arizona State University in Social Work. I have experience working with children and families to ensure child safety as well as mental health and social emotional services.

    My Educational Philosophy

    By providing a safe place, children will have the opportunity to express themselves freely while remaining true to their silly selves. Remaining trauma-informed, utilizing the person-in-environment framework, and other therapeutic concepts, we will be able to understand the child as a whole and address the underlying issues. By treating the child as a whole and ensuring the child's behavioral, mental, and basic needs are being met will set up a strong foundation for a child to succeed in life.
