My Education and Professional Background
I started at Willis Junior High in 2017 as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher. In 2020, I received my teaching credential and began teaching Special Education at Willis. I hold a B.A. in Social Science and a M.Ed with a concentration in ELL. Prior to Chandler Unified, I spent over a decade working in the Assessment Industry for Pearson, ETS, and the College Board in K-12 and collegiate levels.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every student has the ability to learn and succeed. My goal is to provide my students with a classroom where they feel safe and supported. I will encourage them to put forth their best effort and participate every day. I understand that sometimes things are difficult, but we can’t give up. We just have to change our perspective and keep moving forward. I am always here for you.
