Hello and Welcome.

My Education and Professional Background

I graduated from ASU in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in mulit-cultural education. In 2011 I graduated with my Masters degree in Education with an emphasis in Special Education. I am entering my 6th year of teaching students with special needs and learning disabilities. I began my career as a Resource Reading Teacher and then transitioned to a Self-Contained teacher working with students with cognitive delays. I am now working as a Resource Language Arts Techer and I enjoy and love this work.

My Educational Philosophy

I am a special education teacher dedicated to influencing the lives of students and educators. I believe that education is the key to making sustainable change in individual and community growth. Through education and collaboration of parents, teachers, and students, I believe the lives of all students can be enhanced academically and result in a more qualitative and meaningful life.
