    Welcome!

Welcome to WJHS 7th and 8th grade behavior and academic intervention program. In A-1 we focus on assisting students by targeting individual social, emotional, behavior and academic goals. The student's become responsible for their actions and gather tools that will help them become positive members of the Willis community. The goal for students in this program is for them to be able to self-regulate behavior, improve academically and be successful in the education setting.

    My Education and Professional Background

    Graduated from Arizona State University.

Teacher in the special education setting (K-12) since 2006.

    My Educational Philosophy

Without appropriate social interactions one cannot fully experience the knowledge that is being taught in a classroom. In order to make the most out of one's educational experience it is imperative that behavior is managed by both the teacher and the student.

The Choice is Yours! Why Choose Willis Junior High?
