    My Education and Professional Background

    I have both my B.S. and M.S in Education from Northern Arizona University. I also have an early childhood, reading specialist, and secondary ELA endorsement. I have been teaching for more than 25 years. I have taught at Galveston, Bologna and this is now my second year at Jacobson Elementary. My experience includes 2nd, 3rd, 3-4 combo ELD, ELD Pull Out teacher and 6th grade and Gifted ELA 6th Grade.

    My Educational Philosophy

    You never stop learning new things. My philosophy is that you need to be open to try new things. You will never know unless you try something. I try to reach my students in a variety of ways. I believe everyone has something to add and we all learn from each other without even realizing it. The answer is not no.. it is not yet!
