    Welcome!

    Hello and welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Emily Halter and I am so excited to be joining the third grade team at Jacobson this year. I am an Arizona native, I grew up in Gilbert. Some of my favorite things to do include reading, playing volleyball, baking, and spending time with family and friends. I am thrilled to be your child's third grade teacher this school year and I look forward to working with you. I know it will be a year full of learning and growth!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe in meeting each child where they are in their learning needs and finding ways to differentiate instruction to meet those specific needs. My goal is to inspire and encourage growth in my students and help them develop a love for learning. I believe in creating a safe and welcoming space so that my students feel comfortable putting forth their best effort to achieve both their academic and personal goals.
